Scientists at Harvard and the University of Athens Medical School tracked the eating habits of 22,000 Greeks for nearly 4 years and found that their diet cut the risk of cancer and heart disease by 25% or more. Greeks eat lots of vegetables, beans, whole grains, olive oil and fish, moderate levels of dairy and alcohol and some meat. In other words they are on the GIG Diet!!!
